About ITMA ASIA and ITMA

CEMATEX is the owner of ITMA, the world's largest textile and garment technology exhibition. ITMA, the Olympics of textile machinery exhibitions, has been held every 4 years in various European locations since 1951. Its latest exhibition in Milan, ITMA 2023 grossed 200,000 square metres. The showcase attracted 1,709 exhibitors from 47 countries.

CEMATEX launched its ITMA ASIA show in 2001, followed by a second show, supported by the Japan Textile Machinery Association in 2005. Both editions were held in Singapore.

About CITME

The CITME show was launched by the China Textile Machinery Association in 1988 and is China's most important textile event. It was held every 2 years in Beijing until 2006.

About ITMA ASIA + CITME

ITMA ASIA + CITME has been held in Shanghai biennially since it started in 2008. It is the leading textile machinery exhibition that combines the strengths of the world-renowned ITMA brand and CITME.

The show owners have extended their collaboration to organise the combined textile machinery exhibition in a second location in Asia. The Singapore combined exhibition is jointly owned by CEMATEX and Chinese partners comprising China Textile Machinery Association (CTMA) and the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT (CCPIT-Tex).
